Experience and tradition meet
EXTRUSION PLANTS
Our new systems offer almost unlimited configuration possibilities. High-performance LDPE films up to 9-layer barrier films are part of the application range. Of course, our lines are also suitable for recycling materials or biomaterials.
Short start-up and changeover times significantly reduce the use of raw materials and the amount of waste – with convincing film qualities. In this way we can once again make a small contribution to our environment.
Plant V
Our new line V from Windmöller & Hölscher can extrude mono and coex films (composite films consisting of several layers) of up to three layers.
These films are used, for example, in bags for potting soil.

Plant VII
Compared to our System V, our new System VII from Windmöller & Hölscher is a little monster – an all-rounder. It can produce everything from simple mono films to high-quality 9-layer barrier films.
The best-known film here is cheese, sausage or coffee packaging, i.e. high-performance films which serve to protect the product.

Laminating Plant
With our laminating machine, several layers of the same or different materials are joined with the help of special adhesive. Lamination is used to protect and/or decorate a material. If the material is processed in the layers, a better material property can be achieved.

Bag-in-Box
Our Bag-in-Box (BiB) plant produces the inner bag for the packaging carton. This is welded from our foils as a composite material, e.g. aluminium/HDPE, and is then sealed. Filling and packaging in the respective cartons is then carried out directly at our customer’s premises. We can produce 3, 5 and 10 litre bags on our line.
By the way, BiB was invented in 1955 as a liquid container by William R. Scholle.
