New company history was written with the change of name on 13.07.2020.
True to our slogan “Simply Flexible™”, the new company name, as well as the joint new brand appearance of the Scholle IPN Group, underlines our claim of further sustainable development.
Since our joint venture, we have seen a tremendous development thanks to the great investments we have made. The product portfolio has been incredibly expanded with a new 3- and 9-layer barrier film line, a laminating line and the Bag-in-Box pouch machine.
Now we are developing films, accessories and equipment for bag-in-box and pouches in the group worldwide.
The ScholleIPN Group founded a joint venture with Frischmann Kunststoffe GmbH on January 7, 2019. The investments that the ScholleIPN Group is currently investing create new opportunities to play in a completely different league.
From 2015, we will produce overpressure and filtered ambient air throughout the extrusion hall. Thus, we are able to meet even the highest hygienic standards of the food and medical industry! From the second quarter of 2015, we are expanding our range of services with another 3-layer coexing system from Windmöller & Hölscher!
The relocation to Eisfeld was accompanied by the purchase of a state-of-the-art new extrusion line. This plant was put into operation in December 2008 in the new production halls. 2009 saw the relocation of the modern facilities from Saargrund to Eisfeld. In addition, with the relocation, a multi-shift system was introduced, enabling production around the clock.
By Lutz Frischmann, the company is now successfully continued in the 4th generation. An important role in the company plays the training of apprentices. This was honored with the nomination for “Trainer of the Year” in the context of the southern Thuringia SME Award. Furthermore, the company has received multiple awards within the last 15 years.
On 23.08.1993 Bernd Frischmann has reprivatized the today’s Company Frischmann Kunststoffe GmbH.
From 1972 to 1990 the Combine operation “VEB wood and plastic processing” was led by Hugo Frischmann and starting from 1977 by Bernd Frischmann alone.
The first film extrusion was installed in 1969 and since then the company has progressively developed into one of the leading film-producing companies in the GDR.
The Thuringia-based family business was founded in 1936 as a sawmill and woodworking by August and Hugo Frischmann.
